Mary (to an Annunciation), crowned and reading in a book, standing turned to the right under a round arch with a fruit string, on which sits an angel boy with a lance.

Watermark: Scales in a circle with straight scales and rounding (fragment), not the same as cat 261, as Bock suggested. - Verso: At lower left in brown ink the inscription "Hannß von Kulmbach" (17th century), the monogram "HK" and the date "1518".
