Below the inscription is a relief depiction of the house at Irrerstraße 1 Nuremberg.
Erich Mulzer recognised the urban significance of this building at an early stage and did not hesitate - when the opportunity arose for the Altstadtfreunde Nürnberg - to purchase the property in 1997.
The former Irrerbad, now restored, forms the end of the western Weinmarkt at the fork of Weißgerberstrasse and Irrerstraße.
