Painted Table Top with the story of David. The Detail shows a camp outside the city which clearly Nuremberg architecture has “sneaked” into. The table was a commissioned work for Cardinal Albrecht of Brandenburg, Elector and Archbishop of Mainz.
Picture with freely changed view of the Imperial castle, seen from the north-west. In the right half of the picture the Nuremberg Castle is depicted accurately with women´s chamber, curtain wall, lodgings of the castle magistrate, tower Fünfeckturm and tower Luginsland. The high tower adjoining to the left seems to be based on a design from Herzogenaurach. The round tower appears to be influenced by Italian design.
