1817
The view includes in the front part of the picture the easternmost area of St. John's Cemetery. The artist integrated the foremost rows of graves behind the boundary wall at the eastern portal on Lindengasse. This was built in 1662 in the Baroque style. The left portal figure of St. John was still included, opposite would be a figure of Mary. Both figures have disappeared. The peculiarity of the epitaph art on the tombs is explicitly emphasized on the sheet by its plastic-looking design. On the left side of the picture appears the Sixth Station of the Cross by Adam Kraft. Particularly emphasized, however, is the view of the massive castle complex. Set in the center of the picture, the Tiergärtnertorturm towers above the roofscape.
