On 1.1.1809 he was enrolled as a student of architecture and figure drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
He was active in Munich and Dresden. Among the sheets of famous buildings of Bavaria lithographed by him is "Die Burg zu Nürnberg", dat. 1817, 33,2 x 42,5 cm, published by J. G. Zeller, Munich.
The work belongs to the incunabula of lithography.
