The Epiphany altar (around 1495) probably comes from the Nuremberg workshop of Michael Wolgemut.


The shrine depicts the Adoration of the Child Jesus with Mary, Joseph and the three kings presenting gifts to Jesus. The Adoration scene is also shown during the Passion period.




The left wing depicts the infanticide in Bethlehem and on the right St. Anthony, the hermit, and John the Baptist.

Epiphany altar unten rechts, Stifterfamilie, Frauenseite. Bei der Frau ganz rechts das Wappen der Bolstat, bei der Frau daneben das gevierte Wappen der Rosenberger und Ehinger. Marx Rosenberger heiratete 1506 Clara Ehinger († 1517). Spätere Hinzufügung?
