ohann Walz, window maker and publisher and local beer innkeeper and Mrs. Catharina, his wife's landlady from another marriage, the heirs and descendants of both bodies, burial in 1706. And under this inscription you can see the wire being pulled and run through a hole punch or the window punch from one roll on one side to the other. There is a hammer, pliers and hole punch with three pointed ends, and the artist's name, David Schenck, is etched on the edge. (Description from Joh. Martin Trechsels, called Großkopf: "Verneuertes Gedächtnis des nürnbergischen Johannis Kirch Hof ..." , Franccf. & Leipzig 1735) The window-drawer was buried on July 22, 1705 in the St. Johannis cemetery, but ended up living in Katharinengasse, i.e. on the Lorenz side of the city. Walz's widow Catharina, née König (* Pressburg - born April 12, 1747) married the copper engraver Johann Christoph Dehne on April 3, 1714.
