On Wednesday after the Feast of the Epiphany, died the Most Illustrious and High-Born Prince and Lord Johann Margrave of Brandenburg, Archchamberlain and Elector of Stettin, Pomerania, of Caspian and Wendland, Duke of Burgo-Count of Nuremberg and Prince of Rügen, father of Albrecht, Cardinal and Archbishop of Mainz and Magdeburg, and of Joachim, the first brother, Margrave of Brandenburg, both Electors: May God be gracious and merciful to him. after Sven Hauschke Elector Johann Cicero of Brandenburg died on January 9, 1499, and was buried in Lehnin Abbey. After the abbey's closure in 1545, Elector Joachim II had his grandfather's remains and the tomb created by Hans Vischer transferred to Berlin Cathedral
