As the overall view shows (see photo 1), it is a composite of very different panes. The oldest panes, and the only ones remaining from the original window, are in the bottom band – from left to right – the first, second, and fifth panels. Only the section from the Church of the Holy Spirit, dating from around 1410, in the central section of the left-hand side of the window, the second panel from the top, is older (see individual photos below). Only the nine panels depicting the family line, located in the central section, belong together. They date from around 1500 and are works from the workshop of Veit Hirsvogel the Elder.
