From the mid-12th century, Nuremberg's oldest religious building. The vaulting of the two-aisled hall chapel, completed around 1200, is likely contemporaneous with that of St. Michael's Chapel in the Cistercian monastery of Ebrach (Franconia). This vaulting is thus among the earliest of its kind in Germany.
