Hans Ehemann (Emon) was praised by Johann Neudörfer for his skill in grinding spectacle lenses. In 1506, he bought the house at Obere Wörthstraße 6/Untere Wörthstraße 3 for 160 florins, which was encumbered with a rent of 3 florins and 1½ pounds; in 1517, he became a street warden. His widow, Kunigund, sold the house in 1534 for 200 florins to her son of the same name.
