The Architecture Prize of the City of Nuremberg consists of a certificate of recognition and a plaque with the small city coat of arms. _______________________ The City of Nuremberg Architecture Prize has been awarded since 1987 in accordance with the Bavarian Chamber of Architects. In accordance with its new statutes from 2015, the prize is awarded to outstanding achievements in the design of the built environment in urban areas as well as the sustainability and special suitability of individual buildings. Since 2016, the prize has been awarded every two years and up to three prizes can be awarded. Private, institutional or public developers can take part.
