Mary from the Annunciation to Mary

Mary from the Annunciation to Mary

Mary from the Annunciation to Mary

Part of a foundation that also includes another stained-glass window depicting the Annunciation to Mary in the north sacristy and the painting of the church's patron saint, St. Sebald, in the Sebald Chapel; the dimensions and coats of arms are identical in both cases.

The upper pair of coats of arms likely refers to Paul Vorchtel and Klara Pirckheimer. The two lower coats of arms, Pirckheimer and Löffelholz, represent Dr. Johannes Pirckheimer and Barbara Löffelholz, the parents of the humanist Willibald Pirckheimer.
