1650
In 1649/50 Sandrart came to the Peace Congress in Nuremberg and was commissioned to capture the "Peace Supper" in pictures, which can probably be regarded as his main painterly work. He carried out the work in the house of Hans Paulus Deinhart at Josephsplatz 1 (pre-war numbering); according to the files of the building authority, an iron stove was borrowed from the Peunt in 1649 because in one of the chambers of this house the "Friedens Panquet gehaltene auf dem Rathauß abgemahlet wird."
(Ausk. Karl Kohn).
