Architect of Historism and Jugendstil. Of the latter there is only evidence of it by reference to interior decors because the the jeweller´s shop Märklein (Kaiserstraße 30) was destroyed during World War II. As the cupola of the Landesgewerbeanstalt (Gewerbemuseumplatz 2) was also lost due to the war the historic character of this building was lost as well. It looks like a high quality Baroque Revival Castle whereas the exterior of the Castle Faber-Castell in Stein was designed in Romanesque Revival-Romantic Style.
