Virtuoso pencil draftsman who worked in Nuremberg from around 1890 to 1932.

He created realistic views of the Old City , its streets and architectural monuments.

Artist, active in Nuremberg from around 1890 to 1932, where he worked mainly as an illustrator for postcards, city guides, etc. In 1906 he lived at Friedrichstraße 56, in 1914/24 at Bucher Straße 97 and in 1930/32 at Bucher Straße 47/IV.

Works: Portfolio ‘Bilder aus Nürnbergs Mauern’ (Pictures from Nuremberg's Walls), 50 photogravures based on original drawings by E. Schotte, Nuremberg 1894.
