Son of Andreas I. ∞ May 4, 1446, Adelheid Gundlach (* Bamberg – † December 4, 1482, Bamberg), childless.

The master builder's book he kept from 1464 to 1470, with addenda up to 1475, is a unique account of the organization and activities of one of the most important offices of the Imperial City. He lived at the Milchmarkt (Milk Market). On April 4, 1476, with his wife's consent, he entered the Carthusian monastery in Nuremberg as a lay brother, where he lived for another 31 years. He bequeathed a large part of his fortune to his three brothers. Panzer recorded his portrait. His wife returned to her family in Bamberg and later married Heinrich Haßfurter.
