Son of Johann Leonhard Kummet. ∞ August 22, 1819, Anna Maria Herz (* c. 1781 – † October 31, 1866). In 1829, he was described as an engraver and pen dealer. Panzer recorded his self-portrait based on a model by Christoph Wilhelm Bock. From at least 1829, he owned the house at L. 1144 (Jakobsplatz 19), where he had already lived in 1819 and remained until the end.
