Pre-modern architect, senior building official of the city of Nuremberg. Appointed to the Nuremberg Municipal Building School around 1887, where he worked until 1924. In addition to his teaching activities as a professor, he worked as a private architect. At the 1906 art exhibition, he presented views and a model of the villa he had built for the brewery owner Georg Reif, one of the most magnificent villas of the time.
