1938-41 studied at the AdBK Nuremberg under Wilhelm Nida-Rümelin, 1942-44 at the AdBK Munich under Richard Knecht. Further training in Paris. From 1944 she worked as a freelance sculptor in Nuremberg in the fields of art in buildings, fountains, small sculptures and portraits. She worked in wood, terracotta and artificial stone. In 1952/55 she lived in Nuremberg, Heimgartenweg 11, in 1979 at Adalbert-Stifter-Straße 8; in 1984 she lived in Unterwössen, Garbmühlstraße 4. Member of the BBK, the Erlangen Art Association and the Albrecht Dürer Society.
