Father of Johann the Younger, candlestick maker, became master on Aug. 20, 1726,


1765 juror; his portrait is in the juror book of the Rotgießer. Mz: Sun. In 1759, he was awarded the position of prisaun master among several applicants; previously, he had served as a Viennese ordinarius mate and had been attacked, robbed, and injured by robbers while traveling from Vienna in 1749.
