In 1584 he was allowed to take the master's examination out of turn because he was engaged to a goldsmith's daughter. On 25.8.1585 he passed the master's examination and took the master's oath on 29.8.1585. On 15.1.1586 he was registered in the citizen's book, paying an increased citizen's fee, so he was wealthy. 1596-1618 named, 1611-14 juror. Mz: three mill irons. With Rv. of 15.10.1611 he was allowed to set up a silver stall (sales stall) at the show at the main market. Several double goblets are known from Beutmüller, as well as figural drinking vessels and set cups. In 1606 he made a shield for the escort of Margrave Joachim Ernst of Brandenburg-Ansbach, which is now in the Bavarian National Museum. In 1612 he sold a drinking vessel to Martin Peller. A year later he or his brother Hans (contradictory information in the sources) sold the council a silver crockery with Schmeck (silver flower bouquet). In 1587 he acquired the paternal dwelling at Bindergasse 12/corner of Leonhardsgäßchen from the co-heirs for 1700 fl., where he lived until his death. In the death entry he was described as a silver dealer and jeweller, so he also dealt in goldsmith's work. His daughter Maria married the goldsmith Reinhold Mühl on 29.7.1607; his daughter Ursula married the goldsmith Hans Groß on 6.6.1620.
