Fazuni a Renaissance fortification builder who came from Malta. His biographical data are not exactly known. There is proof that he lived 1538 on in Nuremberg. From1538 to 1545 the castle bastions were built by Paulus Beheim and Simon Rössner according to his plans which belong to the most significant and earliest examples of architecture of this type in entire Europe.
