By creating marvelous buildings the ingenious Hans Behaim the Elder had a formative influence on the Nuremberg townscape of the late Middle Ages. Moreover he appears as a subtle designer of the small form in architecture – apart from being a master of the big form he was a virtuoso of the small form.

This builder is peerless in entire Europe.
