born Schweinau bei Nürnberg, 02. Apr 1863

Attended the Nuremberg school of Arts and Crafts, study tour to Italy.

In 1903 he produced1903 sculptural stone copies for the Beautiful fountain and the Faber castle in Stein. At the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1910 he showed a bronze figure, his co-worker for this project being Hermann Stauch. He lived in Hintere Marktstraße 62, of which there is still evidence of 1932
